We asked fans attending their clubs games for a few of their thoughts on how the games went from their point of view and where better to start than with table toppers Tinahely after their great victory over the equally high flying Baltinglass. Tinahely fan Caoímhe Ní Buaigh shared her views on the action from the league clash between the table toppers in Baltinglass in Division 1. Tinahely Man Of The Match: Paddy “The Goose” O’ Rourke (not that I’m biased or anything but he played a great auld game scoring two points and ran the length and breadth of the field)

Baltinglass Man Of The Match: John McGrath (Only fella I know from Baltinglass but played a stormer and scored a few good ones)

Best Tinahely Score Of The Game: Tinahely’s second goal from Alan Dillon set up by Paddy O Rourke – Great passing beforehand starting with Stephen Dillon and Jason Cush.

Key Moment: This was a turning point that really boosted the lads to get more scores.

Thoughts on the Game/Campaign ahead: The first half featured a load of wides from Tinahely and Baltinglass, but second half Tinahely came out like a different team. Brian Walsh won nearly every kick out, their hand passing was quick and exact and the scores just kept coming. The bench had Mick Byrne, Eoghan Byrne, Eoin Darcy and Rory Stokes that came on to make a huge difference. The last 15 minutes of the game was an absolute pleasure to watch and if the Tinahely lads keep that play up they’ll surely give the Senior Championship a rattle this year.
