Wicklow Ladies Football – Leinster Intermediate Quarter Final v Meath on Sunday the 3rd of June at 2pm in An Tochar G.A.A. Your great support helped the girls win the Division 4 League – now get out in your numbers, wear your County colours and support this amazing group of girls that give everything for their County. 👍💙💛

An unbeaten League Campaign saw Mick O’ Rourke’s Wicklow lift the Lidl Ladies Football League Division 4 Trophy after a fantastic win over Louth. Now they face the east part of Westmeath in their championship opener who themselves were unlucky to lose to the Wexicans in the Division 3 decider. The Royles pictured below will bring a much different challenge than Wicklow will have faced before but Wicklow are well seasoned and will rise to the occasion.

The Meath team are also led by some shrewd Wicklow double agents who have been sent to Meath to help change their primitive ways as part of a very generous humanitarian effort on our part😉 These Double Agents have Meath playing fantastic football just like our own management team has our Ladies absolutely flying so this promises to be an epic encounter where a big vocal home support could make all the difference and that’s where you all come in. We ask you all to head to Roundwood on Sunday the 3rd of June to with the same enthusiasm you would if Bill asked you to give him a hand rounding up some Wexican Immigrants who had snuck into Arklow. These Ladies have been flying the Wicklow Flag proudly all year long and they deserve serious support from us. They come from many clubs all over the county and beyond and it would be great to see all the clubs make a huge effort to turn out to support them and most importantly to bring all the kids to watch their heroes in action which will only pay dividends in the future.
