Wicklow U-14 Ladies Football Squad To Face Louth in Championship Opener

WICKLOW V LOUTH

Our U-14 Wicklow County Ladies Football Team play their first championship match against Louth on Saturday @2pm in Cooley Kickhams GAA, Carlingford.

These girls have been training hard since October and they deserve huge recognition as do their management team and parents who have all contributed greatly to the ladies game in County Wicklow. The ladies game is going from strength to strength in Wicklow with our Senior Ladies team currently in the top half of Division 3 after last years unbeaten league promotion campaign and this didn’t happen by accident as all this is down to the incredible work and encouragement from their coaches and parents when they were starting out on their inter county careers like these current girls are about to do tomorrow. The effort put in gets rewarded in kind so we would like to acknowledge this and we would urge the coaches and parents to keep up the good work.
