Wicklow Minor Football Ladies Book Leinster Semi Final Place
Wicklow 2-16 Carlow 4-06
The Wicklow Ladies Minor Footballers booked a Leinster semi final berth after recording an excellent comeback win over Carlow in a chilly Tinahely while the U-16’s also recorded a brilliant win over Carlow on a 7-09 to 5-04 scoreline.
The minors found themselves 7 points down approaching the break but after a long delay due to an injury to the brilliant St Pats star Lucy Dunne who we wish a very speedy recovery, Wicklow sparked into life and Carlow found themselves on the end of a strong Wicklow onslaught and it was our home side who stormed to a 4 point win and booked a place in the Leinster Semi final in the process.
