A bit of congratulations is the order of the day as Avondales Darragh Owens and Dunlavin’s Jack Reid were part of the ATU Connemara hurling team who captured the Fergal Maher Cup last weekend.

Many Wicklow players have been integral to many college teams in the last few weeks across all codes and its great to see our lads winning titles with the small ball at a time when the number of senior hurling club teams is in decline as we need more players coming through and more hurling in the garden county.
