Talented Rathnew Keeper Sam Healy Saves Peno On Way To Winning U15 SFAI Subway National Championship

Remember the name Sam Healy as this young Co Wicklow kid is another who is going places! Sam Healy from Rathnew who plays with Cabintealy is very much one to watch for the future as he was a key member of the DDSL Team that captured the U15 SFAI Subway Championship National Title after they defeated Waterford. He manned the sticks and brilliantly saved a peno which you can see in the video below👌 It’s no surprise he’s this talented as he comes from a family of highly talented players with big brothers Chris & Jack both very talented ballers in both codes.

This is an incredible achievement for any young player and we wish Sam every success in his career and we hope to watch him line out some day in the Green of Ireland so Darren Randolph may start looking over his shoulder as he might not be the only Irish International Keeper from Wicklow in the senior squad in a few years💪💙💛
