Rathnew Ladies Record Historic First Win In Adult Football

History was made today as the Rathnew Ladies reaches a big milestone in their first year in adult football as they recorded their first ever win!

A one point victory over a gutsy Kilbride side was a fitting way to mark the wonderful efforts that have been going into Ladies Football in the village. To make it all the more impressive Rathnew were without some of their squad for varying reasons so there is a lot of positives to take from such a great win and the future of Rathnew LGFA is getting brighter and a special mention for 14 year old Katie Gregory who lined out as the net minder and played superbly despite her young age.
