Offaly Manager Stephen Wallace Sacked! Turf Share Price Plummets
After defeat to Wicklow in the Leinster Senior Football Championship it is reported that Offaly Manager Stephen Wallace has been sacked.
There was significant turmoil reported from the Offaly camp during half time in the Wicklow match with emotions running high over a reported Turf Deal that went bad earlier in the year. Unconfirmed reports suggest that one player even threatened to go home and take his ball with him. As that was the only ball, there was no way the lads could afford to let him leave so they compromised by letting him take the penos!
On a serious note it is sad to see things deteriorate so badly for both Offaly and Stephen Wallace and hopefully they can both move on to better things.
