Kilbride could be the surprise packets of this years Junior A Football Championship if Saturday evenings practice match against Knockananna is anything to go by.

A Bill Hill reporter attending Saturdays game witnessed what he described as the best young talent he’s seen since he attended the much talked about ’84 Tinahely Show Lovely Girls Competition which was famously where the first televised perfect sandwich was made.

Accounting for 2-11 of Kilbride’s 2-15 scoreline and all of which came from open play, this bleached blonde youngster completely stole the show as well as the hearts of a few young ladies in attendance. Unfortunately our source was unable to get the up and coming stars name but no doubt some of you out there may already know this wonderkid and can fill us in. It is believed that this young star talent is a product of Kilbride’s Underage Academy and he has risen through the underage ranks to make his adult debut this year.
