Coolkenno Sharpshooter Conor Walker picked up his prize of a €100 Voucher from O Connors Bar & Lounge Tinahely for being the Intermediate Football Championship Top Scorer for 2018.

Conor had a stellar year in front of goal and as you will see in his stats below, he is and has consistently been one of the county’s prime attacking players and has been many a defenders worst nightmare over the years. Coolkenno reached the quarter final stage in last years championship and Conor managed to amass 4-23 in championship action so this was all the more impressive with two less games than many other players. If Coolkenno can go all the way in 2019 we could be in for a serious amount of scores from the Coolkenno Ace and his crown will not be easily relinquished. We look forward to 2019 as he seeks to help Coolkenno to a county title and will try to best the target he has set in 2018.
