BEST OF LUCK RICHIE – ARKLOW’S UFC LEGEND TAKES TO THE VEGAS OCTAGON TONIGHT

On tonight’s TUF 27 Finale card at the Pearl Theatre in Las Vegas, Arklow man Richie Smullen from the SBG stable that produced Conor McGregor will become the first Irish fighter since Charlie Ward back in 2016 to make his debut for the UFC.

Coming from the Pirate stronghold of Arklow will really stand to the toughness of Richie “The Pride of Arklow” Smullen in the ring tonight against American fighter Luis Pena as they don’t make them soft in Arklow. Rated extremely highly by SBG’s Coach John Kavanagh and with huge respect from his SBG stablemates, Richie is a man you don’t want to mess with and possesses the unbelievable commitment and drive that it takes to be the absolute best.

With the whole of the County right behind the very popular County Wicklow man, there is one supporter in particular who is by far Richie’s biggest fan, his beautiful daughter Ava below who will be shouting on her Daddy along with his proud partner Hannah when he takes to octagon in a lightweight bout on a bill, which is headlined by the clash of middleweights Brad Tavares and Israel Adesanya.

It has been almost a year and a half since an Irish fighter has tasted victory in the UFC when Joseph Duffy defeated Reza Madadi so a win for Richie on the sport’s biggest stage would be absolutely huge for both Richie and Irish MMA.

Make sure to tune in and leave your good luck wishes on the post for Richie as he takes to the Las Vegas Octagon tonight for the biggest fight of his promising UFC career with huge Wicklow support behind him💪💙💛
