It’s the years anniversary of the passing of Nikki Dignam (9th february) who along with her husband Alan, have been great supporters of our Facebook page.
Nikki was a talented sportswoman who represented Ireland in hockey at international level. She also played for Bray hockey club and the famed Muckross club.
She left behind three beautiful children Anna, Kian and Nial who share her love for sport and are talented sports stars in their own right.
In memory of Nikki, Alan has kindly sponsored defibrillators to be installed on their pubs the N11 (Nikki and her hockey number) @Ashford house and The Woodpecker in her memory.

She would be so proud to have this piece of life saving equipment available in her adopted community of Ashford.
Nikki your memory will live forever in Ashford.
