How long have you been living there?
Nearly a year. Although winter seemed to last for about two years.
Reason For Leaving Ireland:
The option was train 3 days a week or leave the country to get out of it.
Thing you miss the most:
Battered sausage and curry chips.
Person you miss the Most:
Mario in the chipper.
Best thing about your new home:
Some amount of beer gardens (or “patios” as the canucks call them).
Worst thing about your new home:
Calling it “st pattys day” or the fact they sell bags of milk.
Funny story from your time overseas:
Won a few dollars at the horses. Myself and one of the lads obviously had a few too many and we threw away a couple of winning dockets by mistake. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Funny story from before you left home:
When you’re around the bigun as much as I was, there’s many a funny story.
Person you are glad to be far away from:
The brother Darragh. My god does he talk some scutter.
Is your club better/worse off without you:
Worse. The relegation speaks for itself although they’re on the way back.
What 3 people would you fly to you if you could and why:
The mother and the two nannys.
What person in Irelands love would bring you home:
Trevor O’Brien. I was only gone 6 months and he came to visit.
What person in Ireland’s love would make you want to stay away:
Trevor O’Brien. As I said, I was only gone 6 months and he came to stalk me.
