Two points for Wicklow and a fitting retirement gift for Gerry Adams as he brings his leadership to an end is what John Evans and his Wicklow Senior Football Team aim to provide from tomorrow’s clash with Antrim. The Wicklow Footballers plan on decommissioning the Antrim forwards and presenting Gerry with something he’s long wanted returned and the two points the people of Wicklow would love.

Who better than the men of Wicklow to deliver such a prestigious gift and after a tough loss to London a win would just be what the Doctor ordered in Corrigan Park tomorrow. Lenny Harbison’s Antrim come into this game with two wins from two outings and will be a tough but to crack but us Wicklow fans believe our day will come and tomorrow could well be that day as we have had some of our best successes against Antrim in the past.

Once again it would be great to see a large travelling support head north of the wall as Wicklow attempt to take back one of the six counties💪💙💛
